Maahirii, PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Calcutta and a first class first Gold Medalist in Post Graduation (University of Calcutta), has been into lectureship from 2010. She is a regular faculty of psychology in the National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (NILD) in Post Post-Graduate Department of Disability Management and Departments of Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy and Prosthetics & Orthotics.

Dr. Bose is a visiting faculty of Psychology with Kalyani IIIT. She has been an active faculty in the Department of Applied Psychology (School Counseling), University of Calcutta and Department of Psychology (Industrial Psychology) West Bengal State University where she has mentored several post graduate dissertations in the field of organizational behavior. She also worked as a faculty in the Psychology Departments of Jogamaya Devi College and Bethune College. She has worked in the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology as a guest faculty in the PGDDRM Faculty of Management Studies too. She started her teaching career as a guest lecturer of psychology in the IAS Training Centre of Presidency University, Kolkata.

She has worked in the U.G.C. approved Women’s Studies Centre, Bethune College as the Senior Research Assistant for the year 2010 and has also worked as an assistant researcher in a UGC sponsored minor research project for two years (2007-2008) under Prof. Nilanjana Bagchi.
